LNG bulk supply
The transfer of LNG from trailer to stationary tank is done either by gravity or by transfer pumps. Using a transfer pump significantly reduces the transfer time. This pump can be located on the trailer or be ground mounted.
In both cases Cryostar is able to propose which solution is best for your needs. Our pumps comply with the most stringent regulations of ATEX and can be operated manually or automatically.
Our stations can also be equipped with an automatic loading system to manage top or bottom filling.
LNG storage tank
LNG is stored in cryogenic vessels. Vacuum insulation technology ensures maximum safety and minimum gas boil off loss. All venting lines are collected and sent to the vent stack located on the higher part of the cryogenic tank.
In order to comply with local regulations, Cryostar can propose vertical or horizontal tanks of different sizes.
The storage tanks are equipped with level and pressure transmitters, in order to monitor, in real time, the tanks state.
LCNG module
As a fuelling solution provider, Cryostar can supply a large range of LCNG filling modules to meet your requirements. We can provide standard skid mounted or engineered solutions.
The LCNG module includes the following equipments:
Cryogenic pump to be connected to the cryogenic vessel. This pump transfers to the vaporizing system at high pressure. (Up to 400 l/min @ 360 bar).
Ambient, forced or electric vaporizers are used to ensure the vaporization of the LNG.
Odorizing high pressure unit (15-20 Mg/Nm3 of gas).
Buffer unit for fast fuelling requirement (Single stage or cascade type.)
All of this equipment is managed by a dedicated automatic system with remote maintenance possibility, in order to provide a 24/7 service.
LNG container mounted system
For heavy duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, mining equipment etc … Liquified natural gas is the most effective solution. Loading natural gas in its liquid state on vehicles significantly increases the range of the vehicle and reduces the refuelling frequency.
This system is designed for instant start and stop for immediate fuelling.
It can serve up to 2 LNG dispensers at 300 l/min (80 GPM) at up to 16 bar (235 psi).
Designed according to the most stringent regulations of ATEX.
A low gas loss process with recovery of the vehicle's tank boil off gas.

Station control system
Thanks to its 40 years expertise in cryogenic and filling station fields, our Cryostar Automation division developed a complete package of control systems for both LCNG and LNG modules.
This system is based on PLC technology. Through a touch screen and easy graphical menus, the stations operator can access all station parameters for a comprehensive view of the complete system.
The control system is designed to manage the full station on automatic mode with no operator intervention.
Specific supervision software has been developed to provide remote access to the fuelling station. The station operator can then visualize all parameters from a remote PC.
Thanks to this supervision module, our technician can access the system and set some parameters from the Cryostar facility. This “state of the art” software significantly reduces the maintenance costs of the operations.
CNG dispenser
CNG dispensers can be supplied on customer request. The dispenser is adapted to your requirements as per:

All dispensers delivered by Cryostar includes a Coriolis flow meter as standard for high accuracy supply.
Dispensers work autonomously, and are directly supplied with gas from the storage buffer.
Dispensers are installed on an island and ground mounted.
LNG dispenser
Cryostar has developed a unique LNG dispenser able to deliver high accuracy flow with a simple operation procedure.
The design has been studied to be equivalent to a regular diesel dispenser. The end user knows automatically how to operate this dispenser.
The LNG dispenser can be delivered with different types of nozzles according to your request.
Dispensers are equipped with a Coriolis flow meter to ensure high precision weight measurement independently from the natural gas density.
Our dispenser is ready to be connected to a central payment system.
A unique vent gases recovery system has been developed to reduce CH4 emissions and avoid global warming impact, by using a single fuelling connector and hose.
Dispensers can be installed wall or foot mounted, and are connected to the main pumping skid by vacuum insulated lines that allow minimal gas loss.

Station payment system
The refuelling station payment system is connected to the station’s control system to immediately activate all parts of the station ensuring a “ready to run” when pulling the trigger.
The payment system can be offered in different configurations:
Central payment system with a report of the fuelling data onto a payment computer
Magnetic card payment enabling the creation of a monthly invoice for each customer (fleets operators)
Credit card payment system for public use
